we went to the columbus zoo today. it was a beautiful, sunny, perfect day! nathan checked out the baby elephant. shelby and i have seen it a couple of times now and i didn't want to wait in line for it today. instead we met up with nathan at the petting zoo. elise made friends with a goat!nathan had martial arts this evening, so the girls and i hung out at the house. they already play well together. it was really fun to watch them entertain each other. shelby jumps up and down and elise laughs and laughs! this, of course, makes shelby laugh and she jumps up and down even more. i think it's neat to see them forming this bond. they will always have each other :)
